2.8.3 – Dor XI Draft 4, and other features!

This new update include Dor XI draft 4, as well as other new improvements and updates!

Monster stuff!

Updated for Dor XI draft 4!
– New Elf types can set their own lists to open! Each can have a separate list set. Head to the Elf Ranger page in the monster section (the eye button!)
– A new format for the new Elves, as well as Giant, Beast, Entangling Mass, and the Elementals, that lists each option as a sort of header and then the things it gains or loses below that
– Dor X is still in the app for now, if you hit the button on the monster menu to show it. However, it is now labeled deprecated to make it clear it’s not the “current” version to be used in games. When it’s fully out of playtesting, that is when Dor X will be removed from the app or hidden behind another setting. (Similar system to what I’ve been doing and will continue for Rules of Play version updates)

Timers and Scorekeepers!

– Timer and Scoreboard tool refresh! This was requested, and finished some time ago, but didn’t update till now, oops.
– You can now also create new pop-up timers or scorekeepers on the View mode of a Spell List, after you open the Spell Tracker.
– I think this might be useful sometimes for long res timers, if you’re a base-chair druid wanting to keep a tally of total enchantments you give out in a game, or anything else!

Quality of Life:

– Reformatted the “share” button for spell lists and custom items/notes, and added an additional “import from clipboard” button. Now there’s two buttons right on the main menus, Share and Import!
– I had someone ask if this was a feature and it’s been in since day one, so… clearly needed a UX refresh. This also feels easier for duplicating your own spell lists, I think!
– When you hit the Add Use button on a spell list using the spell use tracker, it will now dim buttons that are at maximum uses to make it even clearer what you can restore a use to.
– If you click an ability tracker button that’s at maximum, it will still spend that ability–this has always been intended behavior to help you quickly exit the “add use mode” if you hit it by mistake!
