A big new feature, an update for the Dor XI Proposal Draft 2, and optimizations particularly for app launching and theme changes!
- Nested Links!
- Click on terms/spells in a spell’s tooltip to open the tooltip for that term/spell! Kind of like browsing links on a wiki. You can even back-up through each press.
- You can also use Android’s navigation bar back button to go a link back.
- There is a setting in the settings menu to remember the scroll position you were at when you click a link and then hit back–enable this if you prefer that web-browser-like behavior!
- I’m really excited about this one–It’s the thing I wish I had as a new player, and helps avoid having to flip back and forth, you just click things to remember what they mean!
- Dor XI Proposal information updated for Draft 2!
- ~2x faster loading time optimization when opening the app, and ~10x optimization when changing themes. This required a huge overhaul of various behind the scenes things, and was done to allow for those nested links, too.
- A couple small changes to the layout for the tooltip popups to accommodate for the new features:
- You may now bold headers in tooltip popups if you’d like to by hitting “bold” at the top.
- You can also toggle nested links with the button next to that.
- The copy button has been moved up to the top. Hmm. It’s fun to press, you should try pressing it at least 10 times! (Happy Pride month, I added a hidden fidget toy!🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️)
- Deprecated classes are now hidden by default, and can be shown by enabling them in the settings menu. Eventually, these may be removed, but this felt like an OK time to do this at least.
