2.6.3 – Updated for 8.7.0 release, Soupy!

Spellbound Tome is now updated for 8.7.0 release, Soupy!

– Notice something I’m missing? Lemme know! My DMs always open for feedback, requests, and suggestions! Going to do a second pass once I have the line-by-line changelog.

This is a nice time to remind that in Spellbound Tome, your spell lists are always safe between versions! In this case, there’s no changes to Magic Users, but if there were, spell lists from older versions are upgraded to the current version, retaining every point they are able to and refunding what it couldn’t.

Also, I’d like to recap some of the recent updates!

  • Pinch Zoom setting for tooltips and spell lists! Like a picture on your phone, you can pinch to zoom into spell lists and increase the font size of tooltip popups. Enable or change this in the setting (wrench) menu.
  • Nested Links within tooltip popups have been made easier to click! Nested links help you quickly reference game terms and abilities mentioned in other tooltips.
  • Spell Lists may set specific Inventory/Notes, making it a more proper, powerful, all-in-one solution for Amtgard lists and notes! You can make a list of entries you want to show for specifically that list. This allows you to do complex things like make a list and then write notes about it on gameplan, strategies, information important for you to remember, whatever. Or, say, you have a wand that’s Release and Heal, and use a different one depending on the spell list. Heck you could use it for RP and write notes about your character/NPC/things the quest designers said to do.
  • New incantation practice! In each list/martial/ monster, you can open flashcard review by hitting the Clipboard/Review button (was just “Clipboard”) and then Flashcard Review! This will go to a page where you can randomize a target like the spell targeting practice tool, and shuffle through spells that have an incantation either by name or by incantation to help you learn and practice.
  • Spell use tracker text has been made much larger for fonts besides the default Fenix, and larger for Fenix, too! Much more readable on the field for those lovely backline candy druids and mend/rez bots!
