Released last night–another more monstrous update is on the way soon <3
Sappy 8.6.4 changes implemented! Find Heron’s guide to the update here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FRgsolJjbkqaxmk72n5oAD9NX7WUKVIUa3g5je_nrmY/edit?tab=t.jgtb3vn4ntgn

- It’s not relevant for this release that didn’t have magic user changes, but important note: When you load an old version list when the version has changed, saving it will update it to the new version. This is intended. It loads as well as it can so if changes happened it won’t make an invalid list, but may have spell points left to spend. For example, if the price of something increased it’ll try to buy it and then may run out of points for something else, but it’s a valid list.
Meaningful improvements:
- Buttons enlarged greatly when using viewing a spell list and using spell tracking mode, to make them easier to hit on the field. (silly as it sounds I think this has potential for backliners who want to make sure they are tracking spells right, but they were too small)
- In view mode, Strips can now be toggled to be displayed in-line vertically like Incantations instead of in-button under extra tags (Extra tag now just says “Strips.” There’s now Strip, (Ranged) Verbal, and Chant)
- Save files optimized. This results in a size reduction of about 20 times, which is great for backing-up your save!
- Better scrolling for spell tooltips. Has a couple refinements left to do, but it’s a lot better refined.
Fixes and such:
- Clipboard export (for martial lists and spell lists) buttons scaling with font selection fixed.
- Couple tiny issues with things on the settings page.
- After I renamed ancestral armor for warriors to Ancestral Armor (Swift) for clarity and tooltip reasons, it doesn’t get removed when taking juggernaut. This will be fixed in the release when the .pdf is out.
- Source of lag when opening the settings page was actually outline customization. I also made a tweak to the slide bar for it, so it now only changes the outline size when you release the slider, which makes it much easier to use because it doesn’t have loading lag.
- Reference menu page lables no longer awful and crunchy scaled lol.
- Tweaked martial main menu so it lists the depreciated class lists smaller size, not just smaller scale text (smaller vertical size)
- The cost labels in spell lists did not scale with button font changes and should. These have been fixed.
- Buttons on New Build and some of the settings menu buttons did not scale with button font changes. Fixed.
- Apex could toggle the level 4 option to display it again. Fixed.
- Enlarged all parts of the settings menu tab in the settings page (this really needs a better behind the scenes name lol) and made it the other options upwards if the Android-Website-Build-Only options for update notifications are hidden because you’re in Browser or Play Store.
