The top requested feature has been to add incantations in-line in the spell list view.
I have been hesitant to do this because I was struggling to find a way that didn’t make it look like a mess. I was never a fan of this in other app projects.
However, popular demand and all, and after yet another person at park talking to me about it, I went back to the drawing board and I’ve got something I think looks nice now.
- Spell incantations have been added to magic user lists in view mode.
- Not planning on adding to edit mode, that would be a UX nightmare, and you can click the spell tooltip if you want the incantation or other info when making the list.
- Options on the view page have been reworked into a menu that pops-up. This is a lot cleaner.
- Incantations is a toggleable option, default on.
Also:
- Added magical items reference page!
- I’ve added Trinkets, Talismans, and Artifacts to the spellbook and to a dedicated reference page!
- I have complex emotions about Artifacts (for obvious reasons they make sense to give to committed players, but those are often the best players, and when the already best players get powerful toys it can feel rough). But I like trinkets and talismans a lot, they’re fun and add depth to gameplay and garb! So I want to highlight them in this app to help encourage parks to use them and make them available to players.
